The next Coaching SIG Workshop – Accidental Change Agent? Supporting change one conversation at a time – will take place on Monday 19th May, 12.30 PM – 1.30 PM.
Dr Amanda Maclean (Work Behaviour Ltd) will explore the challenges and opportunities when coaching during periods of organisational change. She will draw on her doctoral research to share models and techniques to support change, as well as share insights from her practice as a certified Physical Intelligence Coach to help both coaches and coachees find balance during turbulent times.
During the presentation, we will have breakout sessions, giving attendees the chance to discuss the topics in small groups. These discussions will then be shared in the main session to further enhance learning.

About the SDF Coaching Special Interest Group (Coaching SIG)
Coaching offers time and space to develop insight through skilful questioning techniques, whether that is in a formal coaching arrangement or within everyday conversations. The application of coaching practice and skills can have a valuable impact on the development of those around us and is therefore a topic of interest to many of us in the SDF community.
Meeting 3/4 times a year, this Special Interest Group will create space for reflection, conversation, and connection on the topic of coaching. It is open to everyone in the SDF community, and will be an opportunity to:
- Connect with others with a similar passion for coaching
- Hear from a variety of guest speakers
- Develop and challenge your own practice and thinking
- Encourage a coaching culture within our universities
