Coaching offers time and space to develop insight through skilful questioning techniques, whether that is in a formal coaching arrangement or within everyday conversations. The application of coaching practice and skills can have a valuable impact on the development of those around us and is therefore a topic of interest to many of us in the SDF community.
Meeting 3/4 times a year, this Special Interest Group will create space for reflection, conversation, and connection on the topic of coaching. It is open to everyone in the SDF community, and will be an opportunity to:
- Connect with others with a similar passion for coaching
- Hear from a variety of guest speakers
- Develop and challenge your own practice and thinking
- Encourage a coaching culture within our universities
Full details of each Coaching workshop, dates & information on how to take part will be circulated via the SDF Jiscmail.
Coaching SIG Enquiries: Please contact Jane Lucas, SDF Administrator – a.viva@sdf.ac.uk for any SDF Coaching Special Interest Group enquiries, or if you would like to deliver or co-facilitate a session.
