The Staff Development Forum (SDF) is looking for a new regional co-chair for the South Wales and West of England Staff Developers’ Group.
Are you from one of the Universities within the region and would be interested in a new challenge?
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to work with like-minded colleagues to help shape the strategic direction of the SDF Regional Network. Additionally, you will gain valuable experience of working to create development activities for the regional network members. Interested? Find out more.
What does the role of a co-chair or chair involve?
- Chair three SDF regional sessions a year and ad hoc meetings as required.
- Represent the SDF regional network at Council Meetings and National Conference.
- Supporting members within the region – coaching and mentoring, informally in the
main but formally where required.
Support from the SDF
- Networking and knowledge exchange as part of the SDF Council.
- Communicating with the local Region members, passing on key information.
- Managing Regional Jiscmail to enable local network support.
- Update the SDF regional network page when required.
