Natalie Pocock, supported by the SDF, will be relaunching the SDF Active Learning Special Interest Group (ALSIG) on Thursday 2nd November, 2PM – 3PM.
The relaunch of the Active Learning Special Interest Group aims to support staff developers and L&D facilitators who have a keen interest in creating active, participatory and experiential opportunities for learners, so if you’d like to find out more about this group and help to shape it, do join us.
During this session, we will:
- Explore the aims and purpose of the group
- Discuss ideas on how you would like the group to work, what you’d like to gain from it, and any topics or themes that you’d like to hear more about
- Share examples of great practice that you’ve recently experienced and what active learning means to you
If you’re able to, please bring along an image or an object that says something to you about active learning!
Further information and how to book your place will be shared via the SDF Jiscmail.
ALSIG Enquiries: Please contact Natalie Pocock n.pocock@warwick.ac.uk (ALSIG Chair) for any SDF Action Learning Special Interest Group (ALSIG) enquiries, or if you would like to deliver or co-facilitate a session.
