Jo is an EMCC accredited coach and award-winning leadership development specialist focused on enabling leaders, teams and individuals to be the best that they can be. Jo works with academic and professional services leaders to maximise their own style and skills in order to perform with confidence and purpose, deliver greater engagement, and get the best from others.
An experienced Organisational Development specialist with a solid background in talent and leadership development, Jo has a wide range of experience, qualifications and training to support her practice. She has a proven track record in the development of programmes for leaders and their teams at all levels and has led business critical projects resulting in the delivery of key organisational goals, performance improvement, cultural change and organisational change. She works with many higher education institutions in the UK, and is also an AdvanceHE Associate, delivering leadership programmes for HEIs internationally.
An empowering and outcome-oriented facilitator, Jo supports clients to increased performance and wellbeing through raising their awareness around key challenges and illuminating their options and choices. Jo particularly enjoys building self-awareness and emotional intelligence, which has positive impact personally, professionally and on organisational culture. Grounded in a 70-20-10 approach, her blended, multi-touch point programmes enable clients to review their actions, behaviours and mindset and make the step-changes required for success. Typical programmes include developing resilience, confidence and emotional intelligence, managing change, career transitions, time management, stakeholder and relationship management, and maximising one’s leadership style and skills to perform well, deliver greater engagement and get the best from others.
