We’re delighted to welcome Kirstie Buckridge as the new Co-Chair of the SDF Coaching Special Interest Group, where she will be working alongside Juliet.

Kirstie brings nearly 15 years of experience in Higher Education, having held student-facing, communications, project, and operational management roles at UCL and the University of Cambridge. Since moving into organisational development in 2022, she has developed a particular interest in systems thinking and organisational culture, with a talent for “joining the dots” to help solve challenges.

Passionate about nurturing talent and improving employee experience, Kirstie thrives on facilitating workshops, delivering training, coaching, and mentoring. She is soon to qualify as a professional coach, adding further depth to her practice and contribution to the SDF community.

Outside of work, Kirstie enjoys exploring new places with her husband and two daughters, often combining her love of history and the natural world with family adventures.

We’re thrilled to have Kirstie on board and look forward to the energy, insight, and enthusiasm she will bring to the Coaching SIG.

Welcome Kirstie!

Kirstie Buckridge Profile

I have nearly 15 years’ experience working in Higher Education, at UCL and the University of Cambridge. Working in a variety of student-facing, communications, project, and operational management roles has given me a broad insight into the challenges faced by both professional and academic staff and helped me to move into an organisational development role in 2022. I am interested in systems thinking and organisational culture, and I am good at ‘joining the dots’ to help solve problems.

I am passionate about nurturing talent and improving employee experience, and I love facilitating workshops, delivering training, coaching, and mentoring. I will soon qualify as a professional coach and am looking forward to working alongside Juliet as Co-Chair of the Coaching Special Interest Group.

Outside of work I love exploring new places with my husband and two daughters, especially if I can combine this with my interests in history and the natural world.
