Organisation and Staff Development (OSD) Scotland

 

In our new roles, Lorna and I hope to bring together the knowledge and expertise from a variety of professional bodies, our academic experts and own professional expertise.

 

We are next due to meet in March where conference planning and preparation will be in full swing. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Scotland and Edinburgh in April!!

 

In the meantime, here is a bit about us:

 

Jessica Dall

Development Partner, Edinburgh Napier University

BA Hons HRM            Chartered CIPD

 

I have worked in an HR environment for over 14 years initially as an HR Adviser with a generalist remit and for the past 8 years as a Learning and Development specialist. I also continue to act in an HR advisory capacity to a small business.

 

My qualifications include Chartered CIPD member, BA Hons in Human Resources Management, MBTI accredited practitioner, ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management, ILM5 Coaching and Mentoring (due to complete Feb 2015), Executive Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring.

 

Throughout my career, I have led or been involved in a number of key projects internally, externally and collaboratively that have had a significant impact for the organisations I have worked in, their customers and staff.

 

I have always greatly valued my professional experiences for my own development so that I can maintain an external and broad focus of what’s happening with in my profession, external to the organisation I work for and internally across other service areas.

 

Lorna Prince

Organisation Development Partner, The University of Stirling

Lorna is a qualified and experienced OD professional with over 25 years of people management and development experience. She has contributed across both the commercial and public sectors and has specialised in the higher education sector for the last 11 years delivering individual, team and (formally assessed) leadership development solutions at all leadership levels – as well as organisational development projects and initiatives. Lorna is an established practical expert on development and uses her experience to make links individual development and enhancing performance. Building on her comprehensive theoretical background – Lorna gained her BSc (hons) in Social and Management Science, specialised in HRM and gained her MSc in HRM and latterly gained her LLM in Employment Law. In 2006, she was awarded Fellow status of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has been an active CIPD committee member since 2004, most recently contributing as Branch Chair. Lorna is currently a CIPD Assessor within the CIPD Professional Upgrading team. An experienced leadership coach, Lorna gained her ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and is a member of the Association for Coaches. Lorna enhances her coaching with development psychometrics, and is a qualified in BPS Level A and B as well as EQi Emotional Intelligence Assessor. Dedicated to ongoing personal development, Lorna recently gained her Certificate in Neuroleadership with the Institute of Neuroleadership.
