Group Representative Profiles – Magdalena Bak-Maier and Caroline Bryant

Dr. Magdalena Bak-Maier is a sought after leadership coach and talent developer as well as teacher with a philosophy to ‘Make Time Count’ and an original approach to support people thriving based on heart and mind fusion principles she pioneers. She is an author of the bestselling self help book ‘Get Productive!’ now translated into Arabic and Chinese, and ranked 18 of top 50 entrepreneurial books in USA in 2013. She is the inventor of the Get Productive Wheel and the GRID models used in coaching and personal development and thought at leading technical companies including NASA, top corporates and public sector companies including the Imperial professional staff talent programme Meridian. She has designed and directed the Imperial College London academic research talent accelerator and senior leadership development programme with Alumni becoming key leaders within the HEIs leadership and research agenda landscape and has contributed and spearheaded the redesign of the Imperial Management and Leadership Programme. Magdalena began her career as a neuroscientist with a PhD from Caltech, USA and moved into working with human potential to follow her passion for helping equip others with skills to Make Time Count. Fusing a number of roles as strategist, programme architect, coach and bold change agent, Magdalena’s work puts people thriving in their careers at the heart of organisational success. Her work has been featured in The Times, Telegraph, Independent and BBC Radio. She has been the London co-chair since 2013.
